The primary use of the Triumph name in America was by DS Morgan, for its agricultural equipment. Marlon Brando might not have been so impressed riding his Triumph 6T Thunderbird in 1953 had he realised that riding a Triumph in his grandad’s era might have suggested ploughing a field on a Triumph Binder No 7.
